Delivering stone furniture in Singapore: what to prepare

What delivery includes

Measure the way in

Stone is heavy and a packed piece is larger than the piece itself. Before you order, measure:

• the lift door (width and height) and the inside of the lift (width, depth and height);
• every door on the way, including the main door;
• corridors and tight turns, and any steps or stairs.

Send us these measurements with a few photos of the route. Ask us for the packed size of your piece if the fit is close.

Key point Tell us about the access when you order, not on delivery day. The delivery team comes prepared, and any access extra is quoted separately.

Check your building's rules

Rules differ from one building to another. Ask your condo management or town council:

• whether the lift must be booked, and for which hours;
• whether a deposit or lift protection is needed;
• at which times deliveries are allowed.

Timing

Each piece page shows its production time and, when we have it, its shipping time. After your order, we confirm the schedule by email. Pieces in one order can be made on different schedules: we tell you when each one arrives.

On delivery day

• Clear the route and the spot where the piece will go.
• Make sure someone is home to receive it.
• Check the piece before the team leaves. If it is damaged, take photos of the piece and its packaging, keep the packaging, and write to us within 48 hours with your order number.
