Living with natural stone

  • Every dayDust with a soft, dry cloth. Use coasters and placemats under glasses, cups and hot dishes.
  • SpillsBlot straight away, do not rub. Lemon, wine, vinegar and many cleaners are acidic and can mark calcareous stones.
  • CleaningWarm water and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid bleach, ammonia, scouring pads and anything abrasive.
  • SealingA sealer slows down stains; it does not make stone stain-proof. We can advise on sealing for your piece and its use.
