Size the table to your sofa
Measure the sofa from arm to arm, then aim for a table about two thirds of that length. Wider than that, and it blocks the way to the seats. Much shorter, and it looks lost.

A table of 100 × 60 cm is the most common size in our collection, followed by 120 and 140 cm lengths.
Leave room to reach and to walk
Keep 40–45 cm between the front of the seat and the table: close enough to put down a cup, with room for your knees. Where people walk past the table, allow about 75–90 cm.
Key point Tape the outline of the table on the floor and live with it for a day. Every piece page has a "View to scale" drawing with its exact size.
Match the height to the seat
Measure from the floor to the top of your seat cushion. The table should be at that height or up to 5 cm lower.
- Low, deep sofas: a 30 cm table, like the Low Folded Travertine Coffee Table (102 × 66 × 30 cm).
- Higher seats: a 40 cm table, like the Raised Folded Travertine Coffee Table (102 × 66 × 40 cm).
Round, oval or rectangular?
- Rectangular: the most surface for a straight sofa. The most common shape in our collection.
- Round: no corners to walk into, easy around an L-shaped sofa. Ø90 cm is our most common size.
- Oval: the length of a rectangle with softer corners, useful where people pass close by.
- Square: fills the space in front of a corner sofa.
